Species facts
The most distinctive acclimatised fish of Lake Pisochne. Largemouth bass were released into the Shatsk lakes in the early 1950s, and in the second half of that decade they occurred mainly here. Later sources describe the population as sparse, so this is no guaranteed modern trophy.
